An episodic conversation series
So, stranger…
would you like a candy?
Hosted by the Safer Stranger, the show sits down with a person first — a familiar face, a public figure, or someone whose name you've never heard — for honest, unscripted dialogue. By the end of every conversation, everyone leaves a little safer.
One Candy. Two Chairs. Endless Conversations.
Safer Stranger is an unscripted conversation series where two strangers share a piece of candy and uncover the extraordinary stories, perspectives, and shared humanity that emerge when unfamiliarity gives way to honesty.
Produced by Legacy Media & Publications, the show is built on a single, quiet idea: behind every unfamiliar face is a person longing to be seen, understood, and remembered.
The Safer Stranger is the host. Across from them sits a person first — famous or not, powerful or quiet, known by millions or by no one. No script. No talking points. Just warmth, curiosity, and the kind of sincerity that turns first encounters into something closer.
Full episodes will live on YouTube. Clips and moments will be released across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook as the series launches.
A living room in the open air. Two chairs, a rug, a jar of candy, and whoever walks up next.

This rendering is a visual concept — not the final built set. Think of it as the dream, sketched out loud.
A pedestrian walks up to a sandwich board that reads:
So, stranger…
would you like a candy?
They turn the corner and find the Safer Stranger’s living room. There’s Julien — warm, kind, unique, inviting — sitting alone. He waves them in for a seat.
Then the most honest conversation happens. It goes anywhere and everywhere. No judgement. Laughter, tears, repose.
And at the end, Julien asks again:
So, stranger…
would you like a candy?
That person takes a candy from a stranger. In that moment we realize a stranger isn’t dangerous — they’re just unfamiliar.
Everyone leaves the living room a little more alive.

A feature of the series
Conversation is only the start. The Safer Stranger Foundation builds 24/7 access to lockers and hygienic services for the homeless community across America — because dignity is not a part-time offering.
A portion of every episode, sponsorship, and partnership goes directly to building and maintaining these facilities in the cities we film in.
The foundation is currently in development. Look out for it — and the construction of a dedicated site — in the near future.

Partnerships
Safer Stranger partners with brands, foundations, and cultural institutions that believe empathy is worth producing. If your mission is to bring people closer, there's a chair here with your name on it.
